FEMA Region IX along with Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense conducted a three-day workshop on Continuity of Operations (COOP) Train-the-Trainer (TTT).  This course is based on guidance to the Federal Executive Branch department and agencies for developing COOP plans and programs.

Render Safe Procedure to be conducted in the area of Primo’s Landfill backroad Rt 15 Yigo.  All was clear and a 5″ projectile was transported from the area.  Road closed at 10:00AM. RSP performed at 10:15AM and all clear was given at 10:30AM.

To fulfill this mission, VOAD fosters more effective service to people affected by disaster through convening mechanisms, outreach, advocacy, and as a champion and facilitator for the application of our values and core principles.
