GHURA announces the upcoming Continuum of Care (CoC) technical assistance training scheduled for May 30 and 31, 2013. Guam’s CoC, the Guam Homeless Coalition, is a registered non-profit group comprised of government agencies, non-profit organizations and the private sector that come together for the purpose of responding to the needs of homeless youth, families, and single adults.
This training will be provided by Ms. Dionne Roberts, who is a certified trainer employed by Training and Development Associates (TDA). TDA is a national technical assistance provider contracted by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide technical assistance. This training is meant to assist Guam’s CoC effectively manage their CoC funded programs and deliver HEARTH (Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing) compliant programs and services to homeless individuals on Guam. Providers directly or indirectly servicing persons experiencing homelessness are invited to join this endeavor of ending homelessness on Guam
